Rules

  1. The teams comprising of the 4 best performers from each school will compete in a quiz game comprising two rounds: Jeopardy! and Double Jeopardy!!
  2. The Jeopardy! and Double Jeopardy! rounds each feature five categories, with topics ranging from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Astronomy and Current trends in Science, each of which contains five questions, which are ostensibly valued by difficulty.
  3. The team which starts the Jeopardy! round will be decided by lottery among the different school teams.
  4. The Jeopardy! round begins when the first team selects a question, which may be from any position on the game board. The question is revealed and read aloud by the host, after which the team is given a chance to answer.
  5. If the team responds correctly, the question's points value is added to the team's score, and then the board is passed to the next team.
  6. An incorrect response deducts the question's value from the team's score and allows the next team the opportunity to respond. An incorrect response still deducts the question's value point.
  7. If no team responds correctly or the question passes through all teams, the host gives the correct response.
  8. The team which starts the second round Double Jeopardy! round will be decided by lottery among the different school teams.
  9. The second round, Double Jeopardy!, features five categories of questions again. The values are doubled from the Jeopardy! Rounds for correct responses and incorrect responses would lose quadruple the number of points.
  10. The winning team is declared after counting the total number of points of both the Jeopardy! and Double Jeopardy! rounds.
